Third Floor Radiator was part of the solo exhibition Rooms at Oakville Galleries Gairloch Gardens exhibition space, a site-related collection of works. The building's architecture was used as a departure point for designing audio playback systems for sound compositions using field recordings made in the building itself.

Third Floor Radiator presents the volume of each room on the third floor of Gairloch estate at a 1:12 ratio, a scale popularly associated with adult dollhouses. The rooms are arranged in relation to the actual architecture of the third floor and each model is painted the colour of the room on which it is based. These model rooms are also speakers. The simple machine attached to each object opens and closes a side, creating changes in the resonant character of the speaker and, by extension, the sound it emits.
